March 8 marks International Women’s Day (IWD), a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It is one of the most important days to celebrate women’s achievements and raise awareness about women’s equality.
To celebrate the day, we asked leaders to speak on its importance equality in the workplace, Together, we can take action for a more fair, inclusive and diverse future.
At Athletico, we believe in the power of advocacy and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all of our patients and employees.

I feel very fortunate that Athletico values equity in the workplace, but there is no finish line, and we must strive daily to expand opportunities for all members of our team. |

As a leader today, it is even more important to bring a diversity of ideas and experiences to the table by building a team that represents our patients, team members and the communities we are so proud to serve. |

It’s about creating workplaces that enable people to authentically show up and generously share their unique skills, talents and experiences. It’s about recognizing that when we build equality for women, everyone benefits. And let’s be clear, it’s about staying competitive as a desirable place to work, grow and thrive. |
